Winter has been harder on me this year than I ever could’ve imagined it would be, and one of the only things that has kept me going is fun creative projects with dear friends.
When Anabela and Geoff of Fieldguided asked me to help out with photos to promote their new tote designs I jumped at the chance, anxious to get out of the house and get inspired. We met on a Sunday afternoon and headed down to the pretty pink umbrellas of the Sugar Beach, an adorable Toronto spot that turns even more beautiful when coated in a thick blanket of white snow.
Together the three of us trudged through puddles, found a pink wall, talked about house plants and lovely Toronto discoveries (Geoff was a great tour guide). We even stopped into Tandem Coffee for a few quick snaps and kitty shortbread cookies before they dropped me off at the Wedding Co. Market. It was a splendid way to spend a cold winter Sunday, and I couldn’t be happier with the final shots.
