Dress Up

I don’t know about you, but I’d be oh so happy to live in a place that doesn’t even bother to sell tights. Though some ladies happily live in them, I find them itchy, annoying, and not ideal aesthetically. Perhaps that’s why I always switch over to bare legs the very first chance I get, even if it’s not really that time quite yet.

This look was actually part of a video I just finished shooting with Transitions Lenses (stay tuned for updates!) and while we were on-site we decided to snap a few quick behind the scenes photos at one of my favourite Toronto walls. I have to admit I was a bit chilly, but I just couldn’t wait to get some sun on my skin!

So excited to share the finished video clip with you!

Dress Up

In a completely random twist of fate a few weeks back I somehow found myself at the Vans sample sale here in Toronto, and upon learning that all of the shoes just happened to be my size, I knew I’d been brought there for a reason.

Even though I’m usually not super into animal prints, I found myself inexplicably drawn to a pair of leopard print Vans, and after comparing them with a few other much more typically RAOP pairs, I decided to take them home.

As strange as it sounds, these loud slip ons have managed to breathe new life into my wardrobe, providing a much needed pop of texture and fun to otherwise ordinary outfits. Though they seemed like a strange purchase at the time, I’m so glad I “adopted” them into my pastel life. I guess you never know when or how you’re going to surprise yourself!
