Dress Up

A Clearer View

When I was in my early teens I wanted glasses more than anything- I’m not sure where the idea came from, but I thought they were the coolest accessory to add to my look. In the end, I faked an eye test and ended up with reading glasses that only worsened my daily headaches, but did I look cool? Yup!

Now that I’m an adult I have a bit more logic when it comes to my accessories, and I haven’t worn glasses for quite some time. Recently I realized it might be a good idea to have my eyes checked for real after all these years, and so I headed across the street to Spectacle for an appointment with their in-house Optometrist.

It turns out my eyes are still relatively fine, but I did need a very low prescription to help make things a bit clearer. You know what that means- I finally got my paws on glasses! Bonus: I added Transitions Lenses to both pairs I picked up, so I ended up with two new pairs of sunnies as well!

Stay tuned for my new insta-series with Transitions Lenses, #MyPastelEye

  • Oh-so-lovely! I acquired reading glasses around this time last year and was just devastated… I hated how I looked with them! But they’ve proven to be incredibly helpful and I’ve actually grown fond of them over time.

You look too cute in these photos. Love it! <3
