Dear Diary

Last weekend I was lucky enough to score a ticket to the Wedluxe Wedding Show, so I ventured downtown and into the bridal madness. I spent most of my time of time wandering the halls of the show in search of florals, sequins, and rare treasures. Of course between the mountain of Momofuku cake truffles, the flower market, the golden walkway that lead guest through the very exclusive Kleinfeld’s showroom, and the incredible cake and table setting displays, I certainly found all three and more!

Though I felt a little bit disheartened by the end of my tour (I want nothing more than to get married, but I’m still sorting out some minor details haha), it was a wonderful experience with countless breathtaking sections, and it turned out to be a wonderful way to spend a cold January afternoon!

Dear Diary

As some of you may already know from my Pinterest, I’m totally completely wedding obsessed. I have so many ideas, thoughts, hopes and dreams surrounding my own fictional wedding, and I love flipping through engagement shoots and bridal magazines in my spare time.

Recently I came across a matrimonial editorial so beautiful it seems almost other worldly, and I immediately wanted to share it with all of you. Recently published within the delightful pages of Hooray Magazine, this shoot was the love child of photographer Lara Hotz , stylist Stefanie Ingram, and flowers by Jardine Hansen, and it’s all kinds of perfect!

Entitled “Ophelia”, I can guarantee even the most hateful of wedding haters will be swooning over this hauntingly gorgeous collection of photos.
