I cannot get enough of summer whites this year. Seriously, I think I’ve doubled the amount of white clothing I own over the past few months, and everywhere I go I’m automatically drawn to the same milky section.

I spotted this ridiculously cute romper on REVOLVE and I just knew I had to have it. You know when you can picture an item in your closet so well that it feels like it’s already hidden away in there? This was one of those for me. That ruffled hemline! That bow at the back! That perfect checkered sheer fabric with just a hint of ballet pink between the spaces!

Of course the romper DID end up in my closet, and this summer look turned out part ballet, part country cowgirl, with just a tiny hint of boudoir. It’s a handful, I know, but something about the pom poms on my satin shoes paired with this fringe clutch from CONVEY just made sense in the moment.

What do you think? Too much, or just right?

I’ve loved Maccs for years now, and I was so excited when they announced they’d launched their own house brand this year, Maccs the Label. Based out of Vancouver (my hometown), the owner Tessa has always been such a sweet friend to RAOP, and she was kind enough to send a gorgeous Chlo√© Playsuit my way right before I took off for France.

The results? A Spring boudoir look that I just couldn’t get enough of while I was away (and now that I’m back home!) Accessorized with a simple choker, a lacy bra, and simple black sandals, this outfit was effortlessly chic, and my new peach trench from Lovers + friends was the perfect topper for chilly days!

Johanna and I believe very deeply in the magic of crystals. The Pastel Palace is littered with gemstones, and we even have a “mystical corner” where our plants and favourite rocks reside. It may seem like a lot of hocus pocus, but Jo has taught me all about putting your energy into a rock and then carrying it with you for when it’s needed, and I can’t help but adore the sentiment. I’m definitely not the house expert by any means- Jo spends her spare time painting the most beautiful watercolour gems, but what she has taught me has definitely stuck, and crystal collecting has become a household hobby.

I’m sure you can imagine our squeals when we came across the new Wildfox Ready to Wear Collection.

Just in time for warmer weather, Wildfox has done it again with maxi dresses, rompers and more, all of which are available in fantastic fairytale prints. Our favourite by far? The pastel gem print of course! We snagged a little white dress and a romper, and we’re having a tough time not matching in them every single day this week!
