Dress UpI'll Follow You Anywhere

Originally from Vancouver, I’m naturally happiest when out on the water. Boats, swimming, wake boarding, you name it- I’m pretty much always ready to dive in. So when the footwear team at Lacoste invited me to join them for an afternoon of sailing with a handful of other local bloggers on Lake Ontario, I knew I had to find a way to attend. I mean, sailing and shoes? Yes please!

We boarded the beautiful boat at the Toronto Harbour front and after a few quick safety notes and some very tasty cold pressed juices, we set sail! The rest of the afternoon was a blur of waves and laughter: we set up a SUD Forno picnic on the bow, sipped wine in the sunshine, and shared stories about working with photographers, outfit styling, and our (somewhat strange) careers. We even got an exclusive sneak peek at Lacoste’s Spring/Summer 2016 footwear collection, and though I’m not usually much of a sport shoe girl, I was surprised to find I love their classy minimal new design direction (pssst, there’s a lot of baby pink on the way!)

Overall, it was a perfect afternoon to set sail, and I was pretty sad to head back to dry land!

You lovelies may not know this, but I recently started my own little Society6 shop! Filled with confetti, sprinkles and mint seashells, you can order just about anything you desire from Society6. This awesome company has helped me turn all my pastel dreams into pillows, shower curtains, clocks, and more, and I couldn’t be more excited about it!

I’ve already ordered a few items for myself and so far I’m really impressed by the quality (especially the pillows!), but I’m going to order some new products in the near future too to “test” out. It’s just quality control, right? Stay tuned for photos!
